Recycled polyester within the context of fibre fragmentation
When the industry adopts new materials, it is vital to consider their impact holistically and ensure they are not causing unintended, invisible consequences somewhere else. Thus, The Microfibre Consortium (TMC) in collaboration with a handful of research groups conducted a small-scale study of the effect of recycled polyester fibres on fibre fragmentation in finished fabrics.
